Iran-France webinar in collaboration with the international affairs department of Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris
On Tuesday January 26, 2021, the vice-chancellor of International affairs of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences organized a webinar in collaboration with Dr. Florence Veber, Director of International affairs at AP-HP.
In this meeting, several professors and faculty members from different medical specialties were present: Dr. Babak sharif Kashani, the vice-chancellor of international relations, Dr. Kiandokht Ghanati, the head of the Franco-Iranian scientific cooperation office, Dr. Farhad Heshmati, the coordinator of the Franco-Iranian office, Dr. Ziaei, professor of urology, Dr. Shadnia, director of toxicology of the Loghman Hakim hospital, Dr. Rohani, director of research of the pediatric department, Dr. Joulaei, master surgical assistant, Dr. Safari, research director of neurosurgery, Dr. Oraei Yazdani, international consultant of neurosurgery, Dr. Faizi, member of the ophthalmology faculty, Dr. Abbasi Nazari, president of the department of clinical pharmacology and Dr. Dastan, Faculty of Clinical Pharmacology.
The webinar was organized with the objective of negotiating and discussing the possible opportunities for short-term training for Iranian professors as well as the exchange of students from France and Iran in different medical specialties. In the first step, each of the participants presented their specialty and department separately, as well as their specific needs for taking short-term observation internships in France.
At the end of this meeting, the contacts and scientific requests of each team passed to Dr. Florence Veber for future discussions within the framework of Iran-France collaborations.
